Question by Amelia: What are the spring 2008 holidays in Egypt?
I am wondering if there are any major (i.e., people take off more than one day of work) holidays in Egypt between January and June of 2008. I am aware of New Year’s Day on January 10. Is that a multiple day holiday? Does the Prophet’s Birthday celebration go on for many days? Are there any other holidays during this time that I haven’t mentioned?

Here is list of Egypt Public Holidays and bank holidays 2007 , for 2008 Muslim holidays will be 11 days Earlier , national holidays dates are fixed every year , coptic holidays also will remain the same .

** The Prophet’s Birthday is one day unless its connected wz a weekend so it will be long weekend .
