How was the Egyptian kingdom ran? What did the Pharaoh do to keep everything in order and such.

the pharaoh ruled by divine right and was himself a god. He had complete authority and to oppose anything he said was punishable by standards set down by him. Because he ruled by divine right, to disobey him was also to be impious.
