Q&A: Why war in Libya is different than in Egypt? Why do you support this killing?
Question by ok: Why war in Libya is different than in Egypt? Why do you support this killing?
People in Egypt protested against their government, they did not have arms! They were common people like us. But then, international community specially the United States supported the government of Egypt even though the government was kind of started killing those unarmed people who were protesting. On the other hand, in Libya that was a good friend of western countries only a months ago, people protested their government…first of from where they got so heavy arms, e.g tanks and rockets? And, why this time western community is supporting the protesters, and even killing people from a valid and legal government side with an accusation that the government is not good, and killing people?
My interest was, how and from where did the rabble/protesting people got those powerful arms?
Why, western media is busy hiding the fact? And remaining partial? Do they think that we are all stupid in the west? Why should we support our country to send our army to kill people in a country that has nothing wrong with us?

They are hiring criminals under the guise of Mubarak supporters on horseback to attack protesters. However, Mubarak does have a point in that he doesn’t want to leave until the scheduled elections. The political climate in Egypt is really volatile right now and the Muslim Brotherhood is just aching for an opportunity to seize power.

egyptian cotton is softer and lasts longer as opposed to regular cotton however it is usually more expensive but it will last longer so it is worth the extra price i simply suggest you weigh out the pros and cons of your sheet situation and decide what is more benificial for you.

Q&A: Proof that the people of Egypt were not easily persuaded by govt?
Question by Kaytie: Proof that the people of Egypt were not easily persuaded by govt?
I’m trying to write a paper contrasting the Roman people of Julius Caesar and the Egyptian people of today. I’m making the point that the people of Julius Caesar were fickle and easily persuaded. I’m looking for general proof that the people of Egypt were not easily persuaded by their government, and/or stuck by their allegiences and ideas.

what is the relationship between Egyptian and Libyan protest?
Question by Zolek: what is the relationship between Egyptian and Libyan protest?
I was following the news of the Egyptian protest but then suddenly I found out something is happening in Libya too. I want to ask if there is any connection between the two of them and how will Libyan protest affect the global economy?
Best answer:
Answer by Nasir Ali
i think there is no major connection between these protests. But just the inspiration,
this starts from Tunisia and after ejypt and so on.
The connection or reason is that the leaders were ruling for many years, like Mubarik 30 years and Qaddafi 40 years and people want change.
The libyan protest affect the economy because of Oil power.
Like shortage of Oil for some time, etc.
