Save Money in an Exotic Destination: Top Three Tips for Cheaper Egypt Holidays
Save Money in an Exotic Destination: Top Three Tips for Cheaper Egypt Holidays
London, England (PRWEB) March 1, 2009
But in today’s wobbly economy can you afford a long haul holiday in an exotic place, complete with the risk of unforeseen expenses and the need for lashings of spending money? The short answer is ‘yes’! An exotic destination needn’t be an expensive one. Use a combination of resourcefulness, patience and lateral thinking and you can save a small fortune.
Holiday price comparison website http://www.beatthebrochure.com reveal their top three tips for saving money on Egypt holidays.
Top tip number one: Shop around. Let the internet find you the best value holiday clothes, sun lotions, hats… squeeze the best value out of every single thing you take with you. It all adds up.
Most importantly of all, shop around for the cheapest Egypt holidays online. While your local travel agent is probably wonderful, they won’t have access to the entire package holiday market. And buying online invariably nets you excellent discounts on brochure prices.
“We use unique data search and retrieval software to track down the lowest cost holidays from a raft of major suppliers including Thomson, First Choice and Thomas Cook.” Says a BeatTheBrochure.com spokesman. “If you find cheaper Egypt holidays in any brochure, anywhere, at any time, we want to know about it!”
Top tip number two: DIY. Instead of eating out, buy fresh local foods and enjoy picnics. Don’t spend a fortune on entertainment, just chill out. Buy local wines and lounge around watching the world go by. Rediscover what real relaxation’s all about. Walk a lot and take in the scenery. Read books. Sit in the warm sea. Think. Keep life simple, pared down to the bone. Holidays needn’t be active. And chilling will save you a load of cash!
Top tip number three: Experience life without shopping, our national pastime. You might be surprised how much pointless shopping you do without even consciously realising it, buying stuff just for the sake of it. Give shopping a rest on holiday. Buy the stuff you really need but nothing else. Lie on the beach and enjoy your Egypt holidays to the full without so much as sniffing the inside of a shop.
How much do you think you can save on your http://www.beatthebrochure.com Egypt holidays by shunning shopping, making your own entertainment and doing a spot of very effective online research? BeatTheBrochure recommends that you suck it and see!

Independent Holidays in Cairo Beat Cheap Egypt Package Holidays this Winter
Independent Holidays in Cairo Beat Cheap Egypt Package Holidays this Winter
London, UK (PRWEB) November 2, 2009
HostelBookers can reveal that Egypt is a top backpacking destination for Winter 2009. According to statistics from the budget accommodation website, the number of independent travellers booking a holiday to Egypt is rising year on year.
This new breed of backpackers are shunning cheap package deals for a more authentic travel experience, choosing Cairo and Dahab over traditional package holiday favourite Sharm el Sheikh.
Cairo is the booking site’s most popular destination year-round in Egypt, with its mix of ancient relics, buzzing bazaars and lively nightlife. Temperatures are at a pleasant 25 degrees in November, ideal for sightseeing and exploring this exotic city.
HostelBookers have hostels close to all the main attractions downtown, so travellers can save money and see the real Egypt at the same time on a Cairo holiday.
The top six hostels in Cairo were rated at 90% or higher by HostelBookers customers. Recommended for being safe, clean and away from downtown noise, travellers also rated their Cairo hostel for arranging personalised tours around the city and sharing essential travel tips.
With rooms starting at just 5 Euros per person per night for a shared room, here are some of the best Cairo Hostels:
WakeUp Hostel Cairo
Wake Up is popular for its plum location smack in the heart of downtown. Rooms have views of the Nile and Old Cairo, and there’s a kitchen and common room with internet access.
A guest writes
“We loved Wake Up! Small and cosy, the staff were more helpful than words can describe. Always ready to write out directions, phonetic translations, or just plain hang out with you. The Room had Air Conditioning and was mosquito free – a very tough thing to find in Egypt!”
Meramees Hostel
The Meramees has a laid-back atmosphere and homely touches like fresh flowers, comfy sofas and art on the walls. In a safe and central location, it’s easy to explore the city on foot. There’s even free airport pickup, and a travel desk offering cheap tours.
A guest writes
“The staff were absolutely wonderful! Rooms are large and clean…Great location for wandering through downtown and very helpful staff for arranging tours and drivers. I would recommend to anyone travelling on a budget.”
Luna Hotel and Hostel
Another downtown favourite, the Luna’s rooms are clean and secure, with comfortable beds and air-conditioning. The facilities and hospitality are second to none- there’s a professional tour advisor on site, authentic Egyptian breakfasts, 24-hour room service, and a ‘Bedouin Corner’ for chilling after a day of sightseeing.
A guest writes
“Here, unlike most of the hotels, you can learn Arabic, taste Egyptian cuisine and get familiar with Egyptian culture. With the help of professional tour advisers, you can organize great, unforgettable journeys to places like Aswan, Luxor and many others.”

Egypt becoming the most popular holiday destination in 2011 say Eze Group
Egypt becoming the most popular holiday destination in 2011 say Eze Group
(PRWeb UK) January 21, 2011
Eze Group, otherwise known as Regency Shores have released a series of figures through an internet agency, that would appear to indicate that holiday trends are shifting this year.
Ezegroup, a holiday and leisure company that issues its valued customers with an annual allocation of redeemable points have reported a rise in the number of people looking for some pre summer sun in Egypt this year.
In all, 3,000 members jetted off to the ‘Arab Republic’ in North Africa, for a glance at the pyramids, and quite frankly, a break from the UK weather.
“When we look at the travel figures from last year, we can see that there has been a shift in holiday decisions this year, with a rise of almost 50% in the number of people seeking some pre spring sun in Egypt” said a spokesperson for Eze Group (Regency Shores)
“I’m from Ireland and we usually go home for Christmas as a family. This only usually costs us around 50,000 points on the Ezegroup scheme, but we decided we needed some sun after the chaos that the snow had brought to London and the awful weather. Even though the point requirements had dropped to 42,000 by Regency Shores, we opted for Egypt. We needed the sun” said one loyal customer of Regency Shores.
A shift in demand
According to sources close to Eze group, these findings show a real shift in demand for holidays and leisure trips around Christmas time, with Ireland and much of southern Europe having previously been the most popular.
About Regency Shores
Eze Group was formed and incorporated into a private company in the US back in 2001. It began operation soon afterwards. Ezegroup (Regency Shores) allocates its members a certain number of ‘points’ annually, which they are able to redeem to obtain various types of leisure holidays.

IWMF Condemns Attacks Against Journalists in Egypt
(Vocus/PRWEB) February 05, 2011
The International Women’s Media Foundation strongly condemns the violence against international media covering the historic events unfolding in Egypt.
“We are outraged by efforts to silence the press by physically attacking, arresting and threatening journalists,” declared IWMF co-chairs Barbara Cochran and Theodore J. Boutrous, Jr.

According to information provided by the Committee to Project Journalists, the assaults and seizure of equipment have not been limited to Americans, but have also included Egyptians, other Arab journalists, Europeans and South American news professionals.

TV/RADIO PERSONALITY AND HIP-HOP ENTREPRENEUR/COMMUNITY ACTIVIST TACKLE GLOBAL EPIDEMIC BY SUPPORTING HIV/AIDS TESTING INITIATIVES
TV/RADIO PERSONALITY AND HIP-HOP ENTREPRENEUR/COMMUNITY ACTIVIST
TACKLE GLOBAL EPIDEMIC BY SUPPORTING HIV/AIDS TESTING INITIATIVES
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 10, 2003
Recently, TV/radio do-it-all, Egypt, and super-successful entrepreneur, Russell Simmons, were both featured participants at Abbott VirologyÂs official reception and kick-off rally, in honor of National HIV/AIDS Testing Day (which is today). The event was hosted by Russell Simmons and emceed by Egypt, and took place at the Studio Museum of Harlem, 144 W. 125th St. A number of medical professionals who specialize in HIV/AIDS care and research were also on-hand to take part in the eveningÂs festivities.
Russell Simmons has consistently supported national HIV/AIDS awareness efforts through his RUSH Philanthropic Foundation. The mission of spreading HIV/AIDS awareness is one that Egypt is also quite passionate about. SheÂs featured in an amusing, yet very serious new national television commercial aimed at creating awareness about STD (sexually transmitted disease) prevention. The spot is sponsored by the Kaiser Family Foundation in conjunction with Rap-It-Up, and airs nationally on BET. In addition, for the past two years sheÂs lead a sizeable team of her dedicated radio listeners in the NYÂs annual 6-mile AIDS Walk. In fact, with more than 500 registered members, this year EgyptÂs team (ÂTEAM WBLSÂ) was the 3rd largest organized team among the 45,000 NY AIDS Walk participants.
ÂIt was such an honor for me to participate in the HIV/AIDS awareness event that Abbott Virology & Russell Simmons put together. One out of every three people with HIV doesnÂt even know they have it. I feel it is absolutely necessary for all people to be tested for this stifling disease. I am personally dedicated to using every media resource I have to letting people know how critical HIV/AIDS testing and prevention is, remarked Egypt.
For more than a century, Abbott Laboratories has been working to advance health care for people around the world. Founded by a young Chicago physician, Dr. Wallace Calvin Abbott, in 1888, Abbott Laboratories has evolved into a diversified health care company that discovers, develops, manufactures and markets innovative products and services that span the continuum of care  from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and cure. Headquartered in north suburban Chicago, Abbott helps people around the world in the more than 130 countries. Building leadership and combining strengths in the areas of pharmaceuticals, nutritionals, hospital products and diagnostics has enabled Abbott to provide total, integrated solutions across the health care spectrum for some of the worldÂs most prevalent medical conditions, including AIDS, cancer and diabetes.
As a popular radio personality, on New YorkÂs legendary 107.5 WBLS-FM radio station, Egypt is far from your typical radio or television talent. With a schedule that includes hosting & self-producing a top-rated radio show 4 hours a day-5 days a week, hosting for ÂBKÂs The HeatÂ, a daily entertainment feature sponsored by Burger King on BET, as well as making weekly public appearances nationwide, itÂs easy to see why Egypt is becoming a sought after name in the entertainment industry.
The Philadelphia native and aspiring actress recently had a lead role in a dramatic short film entitled, Â29 and is currently being considered for roles in upcoming feature films. Egypt is a former member of the City Kids Repertoire Company, in New York City, where Lauryn Hill, Tisha Campbell, Malik Yoba and Lisa Nicole Carson also began. In 2001, Egypt garnered even more national attention as the Co-Host of UPNÂs ÂThe Source Sound Lab next to the Co-star of Moesha, Ray J. Additionally, Egypt starred in her own TV and radio commercial the national Chrysler PT Cruiser multi-media campaign that also featured gospel great Fred Hammond and R&B group NEXT. She began her national television hosting career as one of BETÂs favorite guest-hosts for shows like Planet Groove, Rap City and BET Live. Egypt studied at NYU before graduating from Temple University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media.

A wide political support for Egypt’s 2010 FIFA World Cup bid
A wide political support for Egypt’s 2010 FIFA World Cup bid
(PRWEB) March 29, 2004
Blatter said that Egypt has a good potential to host the 2010 World Cup; which is its people’s enthusiasm and football affection, adding that Egypt had always had a unique cultural role in the world.
He also added that through the meeting he had with President Mubarak, it became crystal clear for him that Egypt’s bid had got a full political support.
In the press conference following their meeting, Blatter declared that however short his visit to Egypt was, it meant much for him as he had discussed with Egypt’s president a number of regional and international issues.
Mr. Blatter was welcomed upon his arrival to Cairo, by Egypt’s minister of Youth Dr. Ali El-Din Hillal, Cairo governor Dr. Abdel Rehim Shehata, Egyptian Football Association president Mr. Essam Abdel Moneem, head of Egypt 2010 Bid Committee Mr. Mohamed El-Siagy, the committee members, volunteers carrying flags with the bid logo, and a number of mass media which will cover the event.
There was also a cocktail reception for the guests in one of the hotels nearby to the pyramids area. Then the guests saw the sound and light show where the Sphinx welcomed them in four languages, telling them about Egypt’s ancient history and its people’s desire to host the FIFA World CupTM, promising them that it will be the most memorable ever.
Besides, an official dinner festival was scheduled at night in the presence of Egyptian top men-of-state.

Spanish Property Agent – Lemon Tree Villas Prepares the Way for Property Investors in Egypt
Spanish Property Agent – Lemon Tree Villas Prepares the Way for Property Investors in Egypt
Clemson, SC (PRWEB) May 30, 2006
Spanish property agent – Lemon Tree Villas, prepares the way for property investors in Egypt. Trading in Egypt under the name Elite Properties Egypt they have recently opened new offices in the ancient city of Luxor to cater for the rapidly increasing demand for residential and commercial development properties from both European and North American investors.
“Interest in the investment property market in Egypt is beginning to awaken as the wider world becomes aware of the incredible investment opportunities and incentives available for investors in Egypt.” Says Peter Jennings of Elite Properties Egypt.
The key factors attracting overseas investor interest include Egypt’s fast growing tourism sector, the fact that the government is continuing to commit to legislative initiatives designed to enhance the investment climate and the fact that property prices in Egypt remain low and affordable whilst demand for quality property for sale and short term let is increasing.
The majority of real estate investment interest is currently centred upon the resort areas of Egypt and the major cities like Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria.
“In the resort areas on the Red and Mediterranean Sea coasts property investors are tapping into the increasing tourist demand for short term rental accommodation.” This market is currently returning the best rental yields countrywide.
The second home resale market in the resort areas is also beginning to present profit potential on the underlying capital investment made because more overseas buyers are seeking holiday homes or second homes in these areas. Egypt is close at hand for European holidaymakers and therefore owning a holiday home in this exotic location makes perfect sense for many European travellers.
In Egypt’s main cities like Cairo, Luxor and Alexandria overseas property investors are again seeking to profit from rental returns, and with the creation of brand new luxury residential property districts like Cairo Heights, international interest is increasing.
Overall the future prospects for the property market in Egypt are positive. Egypt is a politically stable country and one currently enjoying the best relationships with many of the world’s most influential economies that it has ever enjoyed. The economic climate in Egypt is open for investment and investors are being actively encouraged by taxation breaks, low labour costs and a country that has a growing middle class who are beginning to exercise their increased purchasing power.
Overseas real estate investors are aware that the growth in the purchasing power of the domestic market is fantastic for the long-term profitability of all investments in Egypt’s property sector. The overseas tourism and second home markets will account for good yields and returns but a growth in domestic demand and purchasing power will allow investors to more aggressively target Egypt safe in the knowledge that they have a wider market to potentially profit from.
