Arabic is not in favor of passive forms .

Question by Myrlan W: If a woman marries an Egyptian, will it complicate things in trying to get citizenship for him in USA?
Marrying a man in some countries only complicates matters when trying to enter the US with his new wife. Does this apply for Egyptian men? How difficult is it for him to become a US citizen?

Egypt,Tunisia,Yemen riots: Is this the start of a revolution?
Question by : Egypt,Tunisia,Yemen riots: Is this the start of a revolution?
These are only 3 of the countries that are currently undergoing fierce anti-government riots. There are many others. After Egypt has successfully managed to stop Mubarack from standing for re-election and are continuing to protest, other countries have seen the results and are doing the same. Is this a turning point for humanity?

What is the oldest royal egyptian mummy of a pharaoh ever found?
Question by cayK: What is the oldest royal egyptian mummy of a pharaoh ever found?
im not interested in the oldest mummy or oldest egyptian mummy!
Best answer:
Answer by John
The oldest Royal Mummy that we are sure of is Seqenenre Tao II(1560bc-1567bc) who ruled at the end of the 17th Dynasty. it was he who began the war to liberate the Delta from Hyksos(non-Egyptian invaders who ruled the Nile delta for about 300 years) rule. His is the worst preserved of the mummies and it appears he was killed by a Hyksos ax blow to the head.
At one time it was thought that parts of the 4th Dynasty mummy of Menkaure(about 2500bc) had been found in his pyramid(this is the smallest of the 3 royal pyramids at Giza). A skeleton was found in a wooden coffin with Menkaure’s name on it. Carbon dating however, showed the skeleton came from the Coptic period about 300ad-732ad.
Remember it is only in the 18th Dynasty that mummification is perfected. It would be highly unlikely to find a perfect mummy earlier.

Why didn’t the Egyptian people kill Mubarak and his sons after the revolution?
Question by : Why didn’t the Egyptian people kill Mubarak and his sons after the revolution?
Why didn’t the Egyptian people kill Mubarak and his crew after the revolution in Egypt just like what happened in Libya to Gaddafi and his sons?!
Best answer:
Answer by Christine H
There wasn’t a seven month civil war and Mubarak hustled off to his compound in Sharm Al Sheik didn’t he? Enclosing himself behind high walls in a monied compound where a lot of the Generals and high rollers live would seem to have been a smart move on his part!

Where can I get good Egyptian cotton sheets?
Question by toronto_guy0000: Where can I get good Egyptian cotton sheets?
I’m looking for a good Egyptian cotton sheet set, because I heard Egyptian cotton is the best. I ordered some from the sears catalog but it doesn’t say 100 percent Egyptian cotton so I’m skeptical if it will be good. Also, I want twin and it’s hard to get quality sheets in twin size. Can you help me? What’s a good brand name. I’m in Toronto.
